SemantiCAD™

SemantiCAD™ is a suite of tools that bridges the gap between custom-named components to building product terms used by manufacturers, suppliers, and content providers.

The first offering is a web-based product that allows users and firms to map in-house definitions to those used by products such as SpecifiCAD™. This tool allows users to map their definitions (for example "WIN-CSMNT-WD") to terms in a common vocabulary (for example "WOOD CASEMENT WINDOW"). The common vocabulary can be found here.
